White Horse Theatre. Props. 2013

Back to White Horse Theatre for another amazing wave. This time I have joined the Props team and got up to making lots of fun props for the 9 shows.
My favourite ones being masks for Romeo and Juliet, and lots and lots of fabric muffins and sausage rolls for a play called 'A pinch of Salt'.

For five weeks I have been working at White Horse Theatre in Germany as Head set dresser. Here is the work I produced during the five weeks.
There were nine plays altogether, ranging from kids panto' style plays to Shakespeare. The shows are currently travelling around Germany for 9 months.

Mask making workshops.

The mask on the Left is designed and made by my Workshop student Nicola.  She was looking at 'Noh' masks and ancient Samurai masks.
We have added Paper clay to our paper mache masks to add detail to the face.
